Ogura Clutch Philippines’ factory is located approximately 50 km south of Manila. The company is a world-class manufacturer of clutches and brakes, based in Japan. Clutches and brakes are the heart of motion control, making them essential in every industrial field, from automobiles to industrial robots, printers, lawnmowers, and more. In automobiles, for example, clutches and brakes are crucial not only for speed gear changers but also for compressors in car air conditioners. Though often unseen, clutches and brakes are indispensable devices.
Ogura Clutch Co., Ltd., which manufactures these devices, has established a production network with eight facilities in six countries worldwide. While the center of manufacturing is located in Kiryu City, Japan, the Philippines plant is one of the main plants that are essential for Ogura Clutch, Co., Ltd.
In July 2024, we received a call from Ogura Clutch Philippines, Inc. asking us to immediately clean the water pipes because the area under the hopper had become clogged, causing a halt in production. It was an emergency dispatch. Since the Philippines plant is a key facility for the parent company, a shutdown would be a significant concern. The situation was critical because one of the two injection molding machines had stopped operating. Enebloom’s engineer immediately rushed over with a cleaning machine and performed the cleaning services. As a result, the water pipe was unclogged, and production was safely resumed. Needless to say, they were very satisfied.
This time, production was halted for a few days. However, if we had been notified earlier, we could have restored operations sooner. Just remember, “Enebloom for clogged water pipes,” and contact us immediately.
